Distressing Options
Distressing allows you to create a worn, antiqued look on your cabinet doors, drawer fronts and moldings.

Our experienced team can guide you in choosing the right finish and options to make your cabinetry a truly one-of-a-kind design.

Soft Distressing Option # 1

Placed randomly on the face of Solid Wood Slab, Raised Panel and Flat Panel doors & drawer fronts, and also on moldings.    When requesting this hand made finish, please specify each Distressing Option #1 desired (light and heavy patterns will be varied).  Individual Distressing options include: Screw Impressions, Wear Marks, Nicks, Worm Holes, Cracks, Rasp Marks, & Dents. Selecting an Optional Glazing Finish will compliment the distressing details of your cabinetry.





Heavy Distressing Option # 2

Giving a heavy aged or antique appearance to wood items. Including Orbital Waves, Rasp Marks, Worm Holes, Cracks, Dents & Nicks and is a much more pronounced distressed look than Soft Distressing Option #1. This type of distressing is placed on the face of the product and is achieved with tools such as an orbital sander, chisel, putty knife, razor, rasp, claw & hammer. We recommended with Cherry , Maple, Red Oak. Glazing can be ordered in addition to distressing to further highlight and enhance each distressed detail of your new cabinetry.
