STAIN  Our wood stains allow for the grain patterns on the wood surface to be visible and enhanced on application. They fill in the pores and grooves on the wood thereby taking in the shape of the stained material. Since stains make the grains visible, it is necessary for us to sand the surface to ensure there are no blemishes on it.  Stains are directly applied on the wooden surface using a sponge or a clean rag cloth.  Sealers form an invisible film on the wood thereby allowing for equal absorption of stain.

PAINT- Our Valspar mixing system allows you endless painted finishes. Paint forms a thin film on top of the wood on which it is being applied.  Because of the formation of the even layer, the wooden piece gets a consistent look across its surface. This layer helps hide the blemishes on the wooden surface.  Since the wood may not take in paint homogeneously across its surface, we use layers of primer before application of paint. This primer allows for uniform absorption of paint thereby giving the wood surface a smooth unvarying finish.

GLAZING - We offer both Pencil (fine line) and Hand Wiped Glazed finishes. This technique is used to alter the appearance of traditional paints or stains. It can change the hue or tone of the color, and it can make the color appear more translucent or transparent.

DISTRESSING -  Give your cabinets an antique and aged appearance that never gets old.  Our distressed finish uses techniques that give new cabinetry an aged appearance.  Sandpaper will remove small areas of paint to reveal the color that lies below it.  A distressed finish can be accentuated with the addition of unique hardware, such as antique door & drawer pulls.
